My dog has a dry, runny nose and inflamed gums. Should I worry?

Hello, My dog is experiencing very dry nose due to runny nose. He also experiencing inflamed gums. His appetite is normal and his behavior is normal too. Thank you Anastasia

The moisture and temperature of a dog’s nose is rarely an indicator of health. However a runny nose and inflamed gums could mean that there is an active infectious or inflammatory process going on. I would recommend that you have DJ examined by a vet. They can do a thorough physical exam and recommend the best treatment, which may include antibiotics, anti inflammatories, or a dental cleaning.
