Why does my cat's nose run and drip when purring? Is it normal?

My cats nose runs- drips- when he purrs; it smells like drool. Is that normal? Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 2 years and 1 month old | 10 lbs

That could be completely normal, as certain cats (mine as well!) do it when they purr. Unless there are other signs, like coughing, sneezing or having dry discharge on nose, or being inappetent etc etc., I would not be worried at all about it.
