Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 8 months and 23 days old | 13 lbs
recently i've taken my year old cat to the vet and it turned out the reason to his lethargy, sluggish movements, and loss of appetite was a fever, of 105.8 when we brought him in. he's gotten a shot and is already doing better and is almost completely back to normal. appetite is slowly coming back but he's lost a little weight while he was sick, and i was wondering there is anything i should/can do to help him gain a little weight or just help him become healthier in general to gain strength?

I’m sorry to hear about Link but so glad he’s feeling better! For these guys I love to do a probiotic like Purina Fortiflora. This helps reset the gut and make it more efficient. You can also add a lysine supplement ( ) to help fight and prevent feline herpes virus which can come on after an illness like this. Otherwise just stick to your good kitten or cat food and he should get back to where he needs to be within a month or so. Best wishes to you and Link!
