My dog ate flaxseed. Is it toxic? What are the side effects?

My dog ate a bag of flaxseed...is that toxic to her? She is a year old German Shepard mix

It's not toxic, but will likely cause some gastrointestinal disturbance such as vomiting, loose stool, or diarrhea. This is usually temporary though and resolves in a day or two.
