What is this in my cat's poop? My vet can't identify it. Is it a worm?

This is not identifiable and doesn't appear to be a worm, or pieces of a worm. In order to identify the worm, your vet will have to evaluate the stool for eggs. If there was an intact specimen, then this could also be identified. If there was a worm this big in the stool, then finding eggs in the stool and identifying should be easy.
