My dog's face is swollen and he's biting his tail. What can I do?

My pit uno has been acting funny and one day I bring him in from outside and his face was swollen and then he started literally chewing on his tail here are sum pics please help I am so broke right now I cannot afford a vet please help I'm so broken up my poor baby is miserable he really looks like it hurts him

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. From the puctures, it looks as though Uno has a couple of hotspots. I would recommend using the below recommended products that can be obtained easily online or at your local pet store (or something similar). 1. Douxo PS chlorhexidine combination shampoo and bathe twice weekly until resolved 2. Malacetic conditioning spray and apply to the area until resolved I would also shave the hair from the areas and clean them using a solution of Betadine diluted in sterile saline so that you have a light brown solution. I would then apply and ointment such as zymox topical ointment and apply twice daily until resolved. If this is not improving or if it is worsening, I would recommend having a veterinarian examine him so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I would also purchase a plastic cone for arou d his head so he does not scratch at the area.
