My dog is terrified of strangers. How can I help reduce their fear?

My sisters dog is terrified of everyone besides her, She’s had the dog for almost 6 months now and I’ve spent hundreds of hours being friendly and the dog still acts as if it’s terrified of me, and everyone else. I’ve tried treats and I’m always friendly. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 30 lbs

Aww I’m sorry to hear about Marshall. This type of behavior is often due to anxiety. I would suggest your sister talk to Marshall’s vet about anti-anxiety/ behavior modification medication which can make a huge difference! Continuing what you’re doing in conjunction with the medication is a great idea as learning is much more effective once the fear is reduced. Best of luck to you and Marshall!
