Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 7 months and 21 days old | 35 lbs

Diamond contracted parvo after recieving a 5 in 1 vaccine so now im needing to know if she'll be a carrier and transmit the disease to any pups she may have in future.

If Diamond lived through parvovirus she is now immune and would actually pass antibody to puppies through her milk. Parvovirus cannot be transmitted from the mother to puppies through the placenta and there is no carrier state.
