My 4lb dog ate broth with onion. Will a small amount be bad for her?

Hi, I read online that adding broth to kibble encourages a dog to eat it. I splashed some organic vegetable broth on my dogs food and she didn't finish the whole bowl, but she did have some. I then realized that the broth had onion in it, but I don't know exactly how much or how much she ingested. I only splashed a couple tablespoons on, but she's a 4lb dog and I'm worried about the side effects. Will that amount be bad for her health?

Onions can be bad but broth is diluted with other flavors so there is not enough in that amount to be a problem. Chicken broth is a better alternative to use. You can also try baby food as it has more flavors!
