Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Poodle | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 6 months old | 5 lbs
My dog has been under treatment for ehrichiosis and she's taking doxicycline, B12, iron and folic acid. But today I found deep red spots on her body. She has three of them in different places and they're slightly bumpy. I'd like to know if they're ant bites since I haven't found lice or ticks on her body. Her behaviour hasn't changed and she hasn't shown signs of feeling sick. She used to have bruises in her skin from pancytopenia but they're mostly gone. What should I do?

While I have no way to assess those spots just by your description, it is unlikely that these spots are caused by Ehrlichiosis. there is likely another cause and I do suggest that you take Cuqui back to the veterinarian for a recheck. Of course, they could be insect bites, tumors (histiocytomas, which can appear overnight), other blood disorders, spider bites, etc. your veterinarian may also want to retest your dog to see whether the ehrlichiosis treatment is working.
