Why is my puppy losing hair and has bumps? Is it mange?

My 17wk old puppy is losing hair now she has broke out in little bumps I have been giving her a bath with antiparasidic shampoo cause think she has mange she went from fine to looking bad in 18days. Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 3 months and 28 days old | 20 lbs

Poor Zena! There are a number of things that could cause hair loss and bumps on the skin in a puppy this age. The most common possibilities would include allergies (food allergies, or an allergy to something in the environment), fleas, a bacterial or fungal skin infection, or skin mites (mange). Treatment will depend on what the underlying problem is, so I would really recommend having her examined by a vet as soon as you are able to. He/she can do some simple skin tests to help diagnose the problem and get her started on appropriate medication to treat it.
