Is it safe for my dog to have multiple surgeries and vaccines at once?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 26 lbs

My 10 yrs old dog is getting 2 lump removal and spay surgery tomorrow. She's also going to be getting microchipped and 2 boosters tomorrow as well. Should I be worried that there are too many operations done on her the same day?

No, it is common to combine procedures together, such as a lump removal and spay. It's safer for Honey to have anesthesia once for both procedures, as putting her under twice may have more risks. It's also common to give vaccines and a microchip while doing a spay.
