My dog has small scabs around her vaginal area. What should I do?

Hi, we've just noticed around 8 very small dark spots (scab like) around our dogs vaginal area- doesn't seem to be worrying her but we're wondering if we should have it looked at. Shes been staying in the hills (normally lives at the beach) for the last couple of weeks. Doesn't have any issues with fleas or any other health issues (only 2 yrs old, last vet check less than a month ago). Chihuahua x shitzu. Thanks :). Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed

You could bathe her with a medicated shampoo and see if that helps at all. Otherwise, have your vet look at the spots. Penny could have an infection and need an antibiotic and a corticosteroid to help treat her problem.
