Why is my cat meowing, has diarrhea, and can't poop after vacation?

Returned from vacation, gone 10 days. Sitter said cat was fine, perfect stools. Next morning cat had diarhea and meowing loudly. Took cat to vet. Had xray done, everything looked normal. Last Oct had full blood panel done, everything normal. Vet gave cat shot (Cerenia) for upset stomach, as stomach sounds gurgling. Brought cat home (past Thurs). Now, today (Sat) still diareah, meowing loudly, uncomfortable, keeps going to litter box to poop but can't. acting weird.

I can't tell you what your cat is suffering from but obviously your cat has a gastrointestinal problem, i'm a little surprised that all the vet gave was Cerenia, i would definitely add an antibiotic course and a special food for a few day. it seems as now your cat can't poop, if this is the case i would start suspecting an intestinal blockage. i would advise having an ultrasound done, if possible by a specialist in order to find out what is wrong as an xray can miss a lot of conditions in the abdominal cavity and intestines.
