My dog has pancreatitis. Can I overdose her on barium sulfate?

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | spayed

My dog gets barium sulfate The bottle says 60% VW 41% WW she supposed to get 3 cc 2 to 3 times a day she has mild pancreatitis I give this to her orally it's liquid it doesn't seem to be helping today and I've given her a little extra can I overdose her on this and how careful do I need to be with this As far as dosage goes it usually helps her right away but I can still hear her stomach in the next room

No, you have not overdosed her. However, she doesn't seem to be responding to therapy. You need to follow up with your veterinarian to discuss abdominal x-rays and/or ultrasound in order to get a more definitive diagnosis.

    You should always follow the directions as prescribed by your vet and not increase dose without direct instruction. I recommend you contact your vet, she likely needs additional treatment this time to relieve her discomfort
