Why is my allergic dog suddenly restless and chewing her leg?

My dog has allergies & on gluten/grain free Wellness Wt reduction Core plus Claritin per Vet. No other known issues. Overall allergies better except last couple of nights she can't sleep comfortably. She is jerking, flip flopping, circling & occasionally chewing her leg. What could be cause? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 5 years and 5 months old | 114 lbs
