My dog was shot by a pellet gun and is sick. What vet costs to expect?

My dog got shot in the stomach with a pellet rifle? She seemed to get better and acting normal, but now she is walking very sick. I plan to take her to the vet. How much would it cost? Would you give me any tips for helping her?

Lucy needs to be seen by a vet as soon as possible. Even pellet rifles can cause severe damage. She will need a check up appointment and possibly X-rays. Typically a check up can cost $50-100 and X-rays start at $100 and go up. Depending on the type and how many views. I recommend you confirm the pricing with your local vet clinic when you call to book an appointment. Most vet clinics in your area will have similar pricing but they won't all be the same so call a few for quotes so you are familiar with these costs and find a cost effective one.
