My dog's nose is congested in the morning, why is she rubbing it?

Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Female | spayed | 1 year and 8 months old | 11.8 lbs

In the morning my dog sounds like her nose is congested. She gets up and then rubs it on the rug. Just started a couple days ago.

That could be actually due to an upper respiratory tract inflammation/infection or potentially to a foreign body in the nasal passage. Usually a foreign body would cause continuous sneezing though. I would recommend a check up and appropriate treatment that may be based on antibiotics.
