My dog's nose is congested in the morning, why is she rubbing it?

In the morning my dog sounds like her nose is congested. She gets up and then rubs it on the rug. Just started a couple days ago. Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Female | spayed | 1 year and 8 months old | 11.8 lbs

That could be actually due to an upper respiratory tract inflammation/infection or potentially to a foreign body in the nasal passage. Usually a foreign body would cause continuous sneezing though. I would recommend a check up and appropriate treatment that may be based on antibiotics.
