My 8-month puppy is breathing heavy and limping. What should I do?

My 8 month dog is breathing heavy non stop and he hurt his leg jumping of the bed his walking and running on the leg though but sometimes limps. Is they anything I can do until I get him to the vet. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 62 lbs

Jst keep him as rested as possible, prevent him from running and jumping as it will probably get worse if he does. Human pain killers are not safe for dog so you will have to wait for the vet appointment in order to give him any meds.
