My dog is 51 days pregnant, leaking urine, no milk. Is this normal?

on day 51 she should be about 2 weeks from giving birth. she should start making breasts now, but there will not be milk until shortly before giving birth. she should, by now, also have gained in girth significantly. It would be a good idea to take Princess to a veterinarian for an xray to determine whether she is pregnant, and if so, to determine the number and size of the puppies and whether to expect complications. Leaking urine can have several causes, one being puppies pressing on the bladder, another being a urinary tract infection. Best take her to a vet for a check up.

    If Princess is leaking urine, she could have a UTI, and I would take her into the vet for a physical exam, blood tests, and a urinalysis. A UTI will require antibiotics to treat, which can be prescribed by the vet. As for not having milk yet, that is normal. A pregnant dog's milk may come in the earliest of one week before giving birth up until right before birth. When seeing the vet, her pregnancy can be confirmed with x-rays or an ultrasound.
