My dog has a head scratch. Can ointment or aloe vera speed healing?

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | unneutered | 8 lbs

I noticed a scratch on my dogs head and I have been treating him with aloe vera he is still very active and playful but I would like to know if I can buy an ointment to promote faster healing

Aloe vera won't help the cut heal, and the best thing to do is to leave it alone. A scratch should heal without problem, and there aren't any ointments that will promote faster healing. It should take 10-14 days for the scratch to heal on it's own.
