My dog ate ham fat, now vomiting, dry heaving, lethargic. Help!

Question

My dog is a border collie and my dad gave her fat off of the Xmas ham. She was spewing white fluffy stuff one day, yesterday she was dryreaching but nothing was coming up. Today she is off her food and is lethargic and won't come upstairs. Can't really afford to go the the vet at the moment but What can I do in the meantime? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 10 years and 11 months old | 23 lbs

I would be very concerned that Ruby has pancreatitis. This can be brought on by eating fatty foods, and it is fatal if it isn't treated. I would see if there is a low cost clinic in your area, or if you can find a vet who will take payment plans. She has to see a vet immediately.
