My dog ate a plastic bag of gravy mix including the bag.

That was naughty of your pup! The concern I have with him eating gravy mix is that is may contain onions and/or garlic, which is toxic to dogs. Because I don't know what the ingredients of the gravy mix are, I recommend you call the Pet Poison hotline immediately at (888) 426-4435. There is a $65 fee for calling, but you can tell them the ingredients of the gravy mix, and they can advise your further. You can also call your vet with the ingredients of the mix, and they can advise you as well. I can say that if the mix does contain onions and/or garlic, your dog should see a vet immediately.
