My dog has a yeast infection. When will her itching finally stop?

My dog has a skin yeast infection... she is currently on diflucan. How long before we see a result? The smell is almost gone. But she is still itching

It usually takes anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks for a yeast infection to clear up. Often the yeast infection is secondary to an allergy, she might need some allergy meds as well as antifungal for the itchiness to stop.
