Shivering can be a sign of pain or cold in dogs, and Poochie could be vomiting from the pain, or an illness, foreign body, or eating something rotten. Given that he won't stop shivering and it's really hot in your home, I would take him into a vet now for an exam to diagnose what is causing his symptoms so he can be treated.
