Why is my cat limping on his front paw? Could it be a pulled muscle?

Why is my cat limping? He's acting like his front paw is hurt but when I apply pressure to it he doesn't make a sound like his actual paw hurts. Could he have pulled a muscle jumping?

Poor Bernie! It does sound like he may have pulled a muscle jumping, and he's limping because he is in pain. I would rest him for now, either keeping him confined in a crate or in a small room. Keep him as quiet as possible, and see if that helps with Bernie's limping. You might consider taking him into the vet tomorrow, as Christmas is a few days away, and it would be a good idea to have him seen during normal business hours instead of having to take him after-hours if the limping doesn't improve in a few days.
