My dog was attacked, now the wound is swollen and has pus. What to do?

Hi my pet was attacked by a dog a few days ago and it was scabbing and she is not in pain but she has started to clean it and it's halls got a bit pussy and swollen what should I do?

Poor Coco! If the area around the wound is swollen and you can see pus, these are signs of infection - she will need to see a vet as soon as possible to get started on antibiotics. For now, you can clean the wound with warm water and antibacterial soap until you are able to get her to a vet. I would also recommend getting an e-collar (plastic cone) for her to wear to prevent her from continuing to lick the area and make the infection worse.
