My dog has a red, growing bald spot with dry blood. What should I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 6 years and 1 month old | 55 lbs

My dog started out with a very small like a penny size bald spot a little red now it's pass the size of dollars piece & dry blood missing hair

Poor Desert! From your description, I would be concerned that she may have a bacterial or fungal skin infection, a localized skin allergy of some kind, or even demodectic mange. Since the spot is getting bigger, I would recommend having it checked by a vet as soon as you are able to. He/she can do some simple skin tests to help determine the problem and get her started on appropriate medication to treat it.
