Poor guy. I think the most important thing right now is to assess him and see if he is in need of immediate medical care tonight. Immediate medical concerns are: 1) Pale gums, 2) Excessive panting that is continuous, 3) Unresponsiveness (even when called). If he is not displaying these symptoms and seems overall stable for tonight, then you can try a few conservative things to see if he improves. It is possible he just ate something that didn't agree with his stomach. For tonight, let him rest! You have already given him Pepto bismol, which doesn't really help with nausea, however it can help settle a sour stomach. He is still drooling right now because he is still nauseous. Just give him roughly 12 hrs to settle his stomach, and then offer him a small amount of Pedialyte (non-flavored). Also a bland diet of boiled chicken and rice or cottage cheese can be offered. If he keeps this down then he is likely going to recover well. However if he is still vomiting and progressively getting worse, then a vet visit is needed to have him examined and tested. Once the underlying disease process has been found then we will know exactly what he needs to get better.
