My puppy's eyes are bloodshot after a child hit her. Is she okay?

Hello i had asked my neighbor to take car of my puppy while at i was at work she has a rough two year old i didnt think much of it because she would be watching her. Well when i picked her up my neighbor had explained that he child had hit my dog that she either pushed her off the bed or threw a toy at her head my puppys eyes loom blood shot one looks more then the other she was happy to see me and she is still eating good shes just not her super happy self i want to know if she would be ok

Poor puppy. : ( Well if she suffered trauma to the cornea causing internal hemorrhage, then she should be seen by your vet right away for treatment. It is a good sign that she is otherwise happy, so I would recommend taking her in tomorrow if possible for an appointment to get this eye checked thoroughly just to make sure there is no permanent damage to the very sensitive eye structures. Hopefully she just has bruising, which can resolve over time; however that determination can only be made after a very thorough eye exam using an ophthalmoscope and an eye pressure check.
