My German Shepherd has black skin and recurring wounds. What's wrong?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

What will we do if our german shepherd dog has a black skin? Is it good if we treat her with antibiotics and putting virgin coconut oil to her skin and food? Her wound will heal for sometime and then it goes back time to time. She's getting weaker by now. Thanks please answer fast

It's not possible to tell you what is wrong with her skin based on the color only, you need to take her to the vet and have the skin checked and analised for infections and parasites first, after the vet reaches a diagnosis he can give you the correct treatment.
