My cat has worms & diarrhea. Does he need tests? Bland diet help?

What type of tests does my cat need if he has worms ? And if the cause of diarrhea is his food , how long does it take for a bland diet to work and do i need to deprive him from food 1st ?

No tests are needed for worms, usually if worms are suspected treatment is given to kill the potential worms. You don't need to starve your cat and usually improvement can be seen within 2-3 days with a bland diet.
