Why won't my dog eat her food but has energy, eats poop & table food?

Question

My dog hasn't been eating her dog food for about 2 days now. Her energy is normal, she drinks water, but she eats her feces and tries to eat table food. Any suggestions? Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | spayed | 1 year old | 75 lbs

I wonder if Roxy is on an appropriate diet for her age breed and needs. Sometimes GSD can have very delicate tummies and struggle digesting certain food. I might discuss this with your regular vet and try to stick with a routine with regards to her meals, i.e. Set times and set meals , probably three small meals a day. Just offer the food and if she does not eat it, just take it away after 10 minutes. I would also look at her feaces, if formed/too hard or yellowish and report to your vet. Obviously avoid feeding human food, as it will just make it harder for her to eat her own dog food, and it' s not a well balanced diet for a dog .
