Dog lethargic, panting, shaking, and tummy hurts. What should I do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Male | neutered | 7 lbs

We took him to the vet just over a month ago and they said he had a slight heart murmur. Now he is lethargic, panting, and was shaking. Didmt wasn't his tummy to be touched. He has a tendency to eat really fast and make himself sick. He ate really fast this morning but didn't throw up. We took him for a walk he usually jumps up and down but didn't today and lay down on the sidewalk when I stopped walking

These symptoms are probably not connected to the heart murmur, it's more likely to be due to pain, possibly as a result of a gastrointestinal problem. Keep him rested and if he is still the same by tomorrow take him to the vet to get treated.
