Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | 60 lbs
My daughters pit bull is 7yrs old. She is in school and neither of us can afford a vet bill. The dog was obsessively licking her vaginal area so we Googled ana it said UTI. We ordered $115 worth if Clavamox ana she seemed to be getting better. That was two weeks ago. She finished the ten days of meds about four days ago. She is back to licking and has a red line up her belly. She's had that before ( allergies) but we don't know if this is different. Advice?

If Mama has a vaginal discharge and she is not spayed she may have a uterine infection or what we refer to as a pyometra. Typically, we recommend surgery for these cases but they can be treated medically. The problem with medical therapy is that most reoccur. You may try reaching out to a low cost spay, neuter shelter. The red line is probably not related.
