Pet's info: Dog | Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Female | spayed | 45 lbs

Hello, I have a staffordshire terrier (11 years old) who has started acting weird since the weekend. She refuses to leave our room, and we have to force her to go outside. When we do get her outside (where it's freezing) she refuses to come back in. She just digs and lays in the garden shivering. Her tail is tucked and she isn't eating or drinking. we got her to eat some chicken and rice yesterday but not her dog food. Her nose is not hot, still cold. Ive checked her body no injuries or ticks,

Pasha and her sister are adorable together! From your description, it sounds as though Pasha is quite sick. Extreme lethargy and a decreased appetite can occur with a number of health conditions, including kidney disease, liver disease, bleeding masses from the spleen, serious viruses, or cancer, among other conditions. At this point, I strongly recommend taking Pasha to her vet for evaluation. She will need a full physical exam, and will likely also need additional diagnostic testing, such as blood tests, chest and abdominal x-rays, or abdominal ultrasound, to try to get to the bottom of this situation so that treatment can be started. I hope this helps and that Pasha is feeling better soon!
