Chance is having a double aspiration done (on a mass above his kidneys and his enlarged spleen). Any special care instructions or needs i should prepare for? He's still at the vet having his tests done.

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. The concern I would have would be internal bleeding from the aspiration sites. Plenty of rest should be provided for Chance and monitoring his gums for any change in color. If you notice his gums become pale pink or pale he needs to go back to the vet right away. Otherwise, a period of 2-3 days of rest should be sufficient. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further! Good luck with Chance and I hope you get answers for Chance soon!
