My dog can't poop from matted hair. She bites. Will a muzzle work?

My 601b Wheaton Terrier female cannot poop due to stuck hair in/on rectum. I tried cutting hair in that area but she bites. Cannot afford vet. Will a muzzle work or your recommendation. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | 60 lbs

Hello. I think a muzzle is a brilliant idea. Once you have a muzzle on her, you can carefully shave the hair off. Please do not use scissors for fear of cutting her.
