Can my dog be off-leash in open areas and sleep outside?

Can I do off leash activities with her when she gets older? We own 660 of rolling fields behind our house theres also lots of woodland it's pretty quiet area it's around half a mile from a quiet little culdisack the roads arent busy or anything which makes it ideal for off leash walking also is it ok for her to be sleeping outside she sleeps in a kennel with my gsd she cuddles up to him and follows him around there not chained but free to run about its unfenced but my gsd won't stray will she st

You will have to train her to stay with in certain limits. It is best to stay with her at all times while on a leash. The more comfortable she gets, the more she will want to explore. You can teach her to come when called. When you call her, tug on the leash a little to help her catch on then give her a reward or treat when she does. You can continue to enforce this behavior as she gets older. You can keep the leash on her but not hold it to increase the distance to get her to respond. There is never a guarantee she won't run off, but teaching her to come on command can help greatly. As long as the weather is not too cold then she can sleep out side with shelter but I would make sure she is trained and older before letter loose outside
