My Siamese cat has crusty ears and UTIs. Could it be food allergies?

Within the last year, my Siamese has gotten complicated. Vet visits haven't helped. Beginning of last year, he kept developing UTIs. The only way I solved it was completely switching to wet cat food. Nothing else worked. Now, he has super crusty ears. Vets determined not mites twice. They say his ears are just "over-active". Is there anything else that can be causing these issues with him? He has permanent respiratory damage from an infection when I got him from the pound almost 9 years ago. Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Male | neutered | 10 years and 5 months old | 15 lbs

It is possible he may have a sensitivity to the wet food, i recommend changing to a hypoallergenic wet food such as royal canin hypo for 6-8weeks. Also using an alcohol free cleanser regularly may help reduce build up
