My dog ate chicken bones. Is it harmful? What signs should I look for?

Pet's info: Dog | Lhasa Apso | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 6 months old | 15 lbs

While i was walking my dog he ate chicken bones. Can that be dangerous for him becouse he never ate it before?

Chicken bones and other meat bones can be dangerous, because they can traumatize the lining of the gastrointestinal system and sometimes get stuck. However, this is a rare occurrence. I know dogs that eat chicken bones regularly their whole life without any complications. It's definitely possible that this could cause a complication though, so it's good to monitor him for now.
