My friend says that her 3 cats dont have ring worm when their losing hair , and scratching alot. My daughter has gotten ringworm twice from them and she's only 8 months old. Is there a way I can get them to get the cats checked

Unfortunately, there is no legal way to do that as they are your friends property. However, I would absolutely refuse to let my daughter at their house. That should send a message that you are very sure about where she is getting ringworm from. (I am very suspicious too.) I’ve also included a link to a good handout below so that your friend can be as educated as possible in making decisions for her cats (and her own health). http://www.cfsph.iastate.edu/FastFacts/pdfs/dermatophytosis_F.pdf Hope this helps and best of luck to you, your daughter, your friend, and her cats!
