Dog paw abscess still oozing after antibiotics. Is it infected?

Pet's info: Dog | Bernese Mountain Dog | Male | neutered | 3 years and 2 months old | 110 lbs

abcess right above his paw licking it wont stop bleeding and pusing given a round of antibiotics and having xrayed in 2 days afraid of infection since the antibiotics are done an it is still oozing

Many problems can cause abscesses such as puncture wounds, migrating foreign object, bone infection, and even a sterile inflammatory disorder called panniculitis. I would encourage you to have a follow up appointment with your veterinarian and consider an x-ray and culture of the wound as the next step. Best of luck and I hope he improves soon.
