My cat has ringworm. Can Program flea control help treat it?

I read a research paper that stated Program flea control for cats can get rid of ringworm. Can you tell me any further information about this? I have a cat with ringworm & nothing seems to be helping. Thanks! Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed

There is some evidence that program can hinder the growth of ringworm but research is limited and it is unlikely to be the most effective option. Treatment of all in contact cats, steam cleaning where possible and clipping of long haired cats are all helpful
