My cat keeps throwing up brown liquid and meowing. What's wrong?

Bunny’s been throwing up a brownish liquid from the past few days. He’s been meowing excessively and throws up approximately once in a week. Why is he throwing up so frequently? We give him large amounts of wet food and dry food too, is overeating the cause of this? Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | neutered | 8 months and 13 days old | 7.6 lbs

Overeating could be the cause, but it is unlikely. It sounds as Bunny is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.
