My puppy was accidentally stepped on. Should I take her to the vet?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 17 days old | 2 lbs

My five year old stepped on our 5 week old puppy he says on her back but im not completely sure. She can walk, no limping. She went poop about 10minutes after. But now shes just laying on me whinning a little. Not sure if i ahould watch her over night or take her in

If she isn't feeling well and just laying on you then I would take her in. If she is comfortable and otherwise ok you can wait until tomorrow but if she won't walk, very lethargic or seems painful I would take her now. A veterinarian can see if x-rays are needed and provide medication to make Rosie feel better. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
