Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | spayed | 10 years and 1 month old | 11 lbs
My chihuahua is getting old and in the last year has developed an Adams apple in the last year. I was told it has to do with the salivary glands but it has gotten progressively bigger and so I am wondering whether it's normal?

If a vet has told you that it is a salivary gland issue, then they were likely referring to a sialocele. These can definitely get bigger as time goes on and may need to be surgically removed. Below is a link to more information about this condition. https://www.acvs.org/small-animal/salivary-mucocele If this was not diagnosed by a vet, then it's best to have her evaluated sometime soon. I worry about this being a tumor, or enlarged lymph node, which could be much more serious than a sialocele. I hope that helps and Bear gets better soon.
