My cat has nose sores and I can't afford a vet. What can I do at home?

Good day. My cat of about two years developed sores on his nose. Sometimes a water like substa ance oozes out and sometimes it is just sores with scabs on them. As i have no finacial benefits of being able to go to a vet, is there any thing yhat can be done from home perhaps.

I am sorry to hear about Kenji! This could be an allergic reaction (to fleas, mosquitos, or other insects). It could also be sunburn - especially true if he is mostly outdoors. If he is older, it may also be some kind of cancer. If you absolutely cannot get to a vet, try a flea treatment or collar and apply 0.5-1% hydrocortisone cream (human product is fine) once daily before bed. Keep Kenji inside as much as possible and apply a children’s sunblock lotion to the are once daily in the morning if you cannot keep him inside. I hope this helps and best of luck to you and Kenji!
