Is Neosporin safe for my cat's stitched wounds after an attack?

Can you put neosporin on A cats wounds. ? She had got attacked by a dog and we took her to the vet for stitches . Can I put neosporin on the wounds to help close and heal them quicker. Also she keeps sneezing like my other cat anything I can do to help them pass this

I would not recommend applying neosporin without the direct prescription from your vet. Cats are prone to grooming and ingesting ointments and can have significant side effects. Antibiotic dreams will not improve healing in healthy wounds and should not be used unless the wound has an infection, in which case oral or injectable medications are usually preferred
