What's causing my cat's dark anal discharge, gas, and red eyes?

My 3 year old male cat started with a dark anal discharge two weeks ago. This seemed to clear up, but it is now back and he now also has flatulance. His eyes are also now a little red when he comes in from being outside. He is still eating. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 3 years and 8 months old

IT could be his anal glands that are infected, it could also be due to bleeding from the upper gastrointestinal tract. i would recommend taking Patches to the vet in order to get it checked and treated.
